On Thursday, participants will either walk to the ARM Community Center or be picked up by FVCA buses/vans at centralized locations and returned at approximately 8:00 PM to the designated drop-off location(s) in your community. (Parents must pick them up from those centralized locations.)

TNT (Teen Night Together) is FVCA’s leadership development program for middle school students. It’s a time where students can learn more about themselves, grow in a relationship with Jesus, hangout with friends and play sports and games. They will experience small and large groups where they will be challenged in their growth spiritually, socially, in their character and help open their eyes to who God created them to be. To begin to expand their thought life about what education/careers may be open to them and how to set goals and prepare the path towards those goals.

TNT is lead by a whole team of volunteers and FVCA staff focused on partnering with parents to help lead the teens in positive paths and experiences in a God honoring atmosphere.

The basic goals TNT has for students that complete the Middle School TNT program are:

A Graduate of the FVCA Core Leadership Development/Middle School TNT Program (Approx. 14 Years Old):

    • Has received Christ as Lord & Savior and can confidently answer:

      • If you were to die today, do you know for certain that you would go to heaven?

      • If you were to die today and stood before Christ and He asked you why He should allow you in Heaven, what would you reply?

    • Has begun taking steps towards being a Fully Devoted Disciple of Christ.

      • Is beginning to grasp what it means to be a Disciple of Christ

      • Owns and reads a version of the Bible appropriate for their age and understanding.

      • Is learning how to pray to Jesus/God

      • Is willingly beginning to develop a Biblical Character

    • Is learning how to successfully work/play/get-along with others, including those that are different than them. Happy for the success of others/friends.

    • Is beginning to develop a desire to serve others and less focused on their own needs/desires.

    • Is ready to commit to being successful in and to finish High School and to strive for good grades.

    • Has set goals and learned some skills required for High School such as note taking and being responsible for themselves. Some possible examples:

      • Finish Homework Early Each Week

      • Speak Up More in Class

      • Keep Locker/Backpack Clean and Organized

As they graduate from 8th grade and move on to a 4-year High School TNT program, new and more challenging goals are set to help them continue their growth and progress.
